This is how the golden boot lookes, it comes with a striking gold colour with big nike swoosh and it will be used exclusively by Neymar in the knockout stages.
This metalic gold colour will make sure Neymar will shine onthe pitch and give him exclusivity as he will be the only footballer in the world cup to use these boots. Good marketing effort from Nike who are trying their best to cash it on the Brazilian wonderkid.

(LIVE STREAMING) Cameroon vs Croatia LIVE STREAM – FIFA WORLD CUP 18TH JUNE 2014

Posted: 18 Jun 2014 08:34 AM PDT

Group A: Cameroon vs Croatia

Venue: Arena Amazonia, Manaus

Kick-off: 11pm (6pm, Brazil time)

TV coverage: ITV1, from 10.35pm

Referee: Pedro Proenca (Portugal)

Managers: Volker Finke (Cameroon)
 Niko Kovac (Croatia)

One to watch: Mario Mandzukic

Suspended for Croatia's opening match against Brazil, the Bayern Munich striker will be looking to make up for lost time on his World Cup debut. Brilliant at holding up the ball and bringing others into play, Mandzukic is also a huge threat in the air, something his team's full backs will look to exploit.

Key clash: Alex Song vs Luka Modric

A mini-Clasico will take place in central midfield between two players that left north London for La Liga two summers ago as Barcelona's Song, formerly of Arsenal, lines up against ex-Spurs star Modric, now of Real Madrid. It will be fascinating to see how the two fare in Manaus coming off the back of very contrasting seasons. The latter enjoyed a fantastic campaign at club level, while the former endured a stop-start one at the Nou Camp.

History lesson

This is Croatia's first ever match against an African side.

Did you know?

Cameroon took 91 minutes to have an effort at goal in their first game against Mexico.

Head-to-head record:
Played 0

Opta stats:

  • This will be the first ever game between Cameroon and Croatia.
  • This is also Croatia's first ever World Cup game against an African side.
  • Cameroon have won only one of their 13 World Cup games against European sides (2-1 v Romania in 1990), drawing five and losing seven.
  • Cameroon have only won one of their last 14 World Cup games (1-0 v Saudi Arabia in 2002), drawing four and losing nine.
  • Cameroon have lost their last five World Cup matches; the longest losing streak of any African nation at the tournament.
  • The Indomitable Lions have scored just seven goals in their last 12 World cup matches, and never more than once during this run.
  • Croatia will have Mario Mandzukic available for selection for the first time in this World Cup finals tournament. No player scored more headed goals than the Bayern Munich striker in the top five European leagues in 2013-14 (7).
  • Cameroon only attempted one shot on target in the whole of their opening group stage game against Mexico and this came in the 91st minute.
  • Cameroon have played 21 World Cup matches overall and their one shot on target tally against Mexico in the opening game was the fewest they've ever mustered in a WC finals match.
  • Croatia have not won any of their last five World Cup matches (L3 D2), with their last WC finals victory coming in 2002 versus Italy (2-1).

(LIVE STREAMING) Spain vs Chile LIVE STREAM – FIFA WORLD CUP 18TH JUNE 2014

Posted: 18 Jun 2014 08:24 AM PDT

Group B: Spain vs Chile

Venue: Estadio Jornalista Mario Filho, Rio de Janeiro

Kick-off: 8pm (4pm, Brazil time)

TV coverage: BBC1, from 7.30pm

Odds: Spain 4/7, Draw 10/3, Chile 9/2

Referee: Mark Geiger (USA)

Managers: Vicente Del Bosque (Spain)
 Jorge Sampaoli (Chile)

One to watch: Jorge Valdivia

Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal tend to hog the limelight for Chile, while the good work of players like 30-year-old Valdivia goes unnoticed. Watch the playmaker in action and look at the way he moves with the ball and switches possession and you would think he was Spanish. He'll need to be at his best to match Xavi, Xabi Alonso and Sergio Busquets though.

Key clash: Javi Martinez vs Alexis Sanchez

If, as expected, Bayern Munich's Javi Martinez comes in for the out-of-sorts Gerard Pique alongside Sergio Ramos at the heart of Spain's defence then he will have his work cut out keeping the lively Alexis Sanchez quiet. Martinez, a central midfielder by trade, will have to cope with the lightning pace of Barcelona forward if Spain are to stay in the tournament.

Head-to-head record:
Played 10, Spain Wins 8, Draws 2

Opta stats:

  • Chile have never beaten Spain in their 10 previous encounters (D2 L8).
  • Spain have won the two previous meetings with Chile at the World Cup: in 1950 (2-0) and in 2010 (2-1). The game in 1950 was played at the Maracanã; which is where this encounter is taking place.
  • Chile have lost their two previous World Cup games against the defending champion, both against Brazil (in 1962 and 1998).
  • In their group opener against the Netherlands, Spain conceded 5+ goals in an international for the first time since losing 6-2 to Scotland in June 1963.
  • Only once before had Spain conceded 5+ goals in a World Cup game (1-6 vs Brazil in Brazil in 1950).
  • Spain lost their opening game of the 2010 World Cup finals (0-1 v Switzerland) but became the first team to ever lift the World Cup trophy after having lost their opening game of the tournament.
  • Spain's 1-5 defeat to the Netherlands was the heaviest margin of defeat by a reigning World Cup champion in the history of the tournament (four goals). The previous heaviest were Brazil losing 0-3 v France in 1998 and West Germany losing 3-6 v France in 1958.
  • Alexis Sanchez has been involved in seven of the last eight goals that Chile have scored (six assists and one goal).
  • Spain have not lost back to back internationals since October 2006 (2-3 v Northern Ireland and 0-2 v Sweden).
  • The Spaniards conceded more goals in 90 minutes against Netherlands (5) than they had in their previous nine international matches combined (4).
  • Spain have won just one of their last five internationals played at a neutral venue (L2 D2) and that victory was a 2-0 win over El Salvador (FIFA Ranked 68th) in Washington earlier this month.

(LIVE STREAMING) Australia vs Netherlands LIVE STREAM – FIFA WORLD CUP 18TH JUNE 2014

Posted: 18 Jun 2014 08:14 AM PDT

Group B: Australia vs Holland

Venue: Estadio Beira-Rio, Porto Alegre

Kick-off: 5pm (1pm, Brazil time)

TV coverage: ITV1, from 4pm

Odds: Australia 12/1, Draw 5/1, Holland 2/9

Referee: Djamel Haimoudi (Algeria)

Managers: Ange Postecoglou (Australia)
        Louis van Gaal (Holland)

Not many people could have predicted Holland would beat Spain, let alone dish out a 5-1 thrashing to the world champions. But Louis van Gaal's team are keeping their feet on the ground.

Captain Robin van Persie, who, with Arjen Robben, became the first Dutch player to score in three different World Cups, said: 'We shouldn't get ahead of ourselves — we have a long way to go to win this. This is my fifth (major) tournament and I know how these things work: the euphoria vanishes just as quickly as it appears.'

But the Dutch have every reason to be euphoric. Their new system with three at the back works and allows Robben to play as a striker. With no defensive responsibilities, he can now focus purely on attacking.

Australia fought hard against Chile and were undone by their fluid movement. But they did cause plenty of problems with crosses from deep and set pieces. Expect more of the same on Wednesday.

One to watch: Arjen Robben

Robin van Persie might have scored a beauty against Spain but it was Arjen Robben's pace that tore the champions apart. Playing in a forward role, his direct running will terrorise Australia.

Key clash: Matthew Spiranovic vs Robin van Persie

Australia struggled with the pace and strength of Chile's frontline in their opening game and that could well continue against Louis van Gaal's side. Van Persie was unplayable at times against the reigning champions Spain and Spiranovic will have to stay disciplined to have any chance of winning his battle with the Manchester United forward.

Familiar face: Tim Cahill

The former Millwall and Everton man has given us a reminder of his power with a header against Chile. He is Australia's main outlet and they constantly look to whip balls in to him.

History lesson
There is a glimmer of hope for Australia — they have not lost to Holland in their last three meetings, winning one and drawing two.

Did you know?
Holland are unbeaten in their last 11 group matches. The last time they lost at this stage of the World Cup was in 1994 to Belgium.

Best bet
Over 3.5 goals to be scored in the match — 13/10

Head-to-head record:
Played 3, Australia Wins 1, Draws 2

Opta stats:

  • This is the first World Cup encounter between Australia and Holland.
  • Australia are unbeaten in their three previous meetings against Holland (W1 D2). Their last encounter was on October 10, 2009 in a Sydney friendly (0-0).
  • Australia have won one of their six World Cup encounters with European sides (2-1 v Serbia in 2010), drawing one and losing four. They have never kept a clean sheet in any of these games.
  • Robin van Persie has scored 10 goals in his last nine appearances for Holland.
  • Arjen Robben has scored seven goals in his last seven appearances for Holland
  • Following their goals against Spain, both Robben and Van Persie became the first Holland players to score in three different World Cup tournaments (2006, 2010, 2014).
  • Tim Cahill has scored in three World Cups for Australia; no other Australian has done so in more than one tournament.
  • Cahill (four goals, one assist) has now been involved in 56 per cent of Australia's goals (9) in World Cup history.
  • Australia have won just two of their previous 11 World Cup matches (L6 D3).
  • Holland are unbeaten in their last 11 World Cup group stage matches, winning eight and drawing three. Their last group stage defeat came back in 1994 versus Belgium.
