| Ramai Tak Percaya Vikingdom Kutip RM10Juta Sebelum Tayangan Posted: 11 Sep 2013 10:57 PM PDT Di laman media sosial ketika ini, Budiey dapati ramai yang terkejut dan tak percaya apabila KRU Studios memberitahu mereka telah berjaya menjana pulangan sebanyak RM10 juta menerusi filem Vikingdom: The Blood Eclipse sebelum ia ditayangkan di seluruh negara bermula 12 September 2013. Bunyi agak pelik dan ramai tertanya macamana KRU Studios sudah boleh dapat pulangan sebelum tarikh tayangan. Menurut pengarah filem Vikingdom, Yusry Abdul Halim, jumlah itu adalah hasil daripada penjualan hak pengedaran filem berkenaan di Amerika Syarikat termasuk di 10 buah negara lain.
Filem yang dihasilkan sepenuhnya di Malaysia itu menelan kos sebanyak RM20 juta dan mengambil masa selama dua tahun untuk disiapkan. Filem yang mengetengahkan pelakon luar negara ini bakal ditayangkan di Amerika Syarikat pada 4 Oktober depan dan membariskan pelakon seperti Dominic Purcell, Conan Stevens dan Natassia Malthe. Dalam pada itu, Yusry berkata, rakyat Malaysia perlu berbangga dengan penghasilan filem berkenaan kerana ia dihasilkan sepenuhnya oleh tenaga produksi tempatan walaupun membariskan pelakon luar negara. Malah Yusry menyifatkan Vikingdom sebagai permulaan baharu terhadap industri perfileman di Malaysia.

Lagu Dina Wanita Besi juga telah dinominasikan dan berjaya mendapat tempat di semi finals dalam kategori Pop/Top 40 di anugerah yang sama. With 22 winners and 100 Honorable Mentions, the US-based competition awards over $50,000 in cash and prizes, including a $10,000 cash prize to the overall Grand Prize winner. The overall Grand Prize winner is awarded to rising Canadian country artist Wes Mack. His song "Duet" was the overwhelming favorite with the judges who predict a great future for this young and promising unsigned artist. From the silver screen as a film and television star to sold-out performances with Florida Georgia Line, Wes Mack is quickly taking the world of country music by storm. Influenced by artists as diverse as Hank Williams and The Beatles, Mack says, "I would always listen to those tapes with my parents on long road trips through the mountains. That's where I learned the melodies and storytelling which influences me today." As an actor, Mack has built up an impressive resume, including his recurring role in the CBC Western drama, Heartland, playing an up-and-coming country musician. In the past year, Mack has been writing and recording his music in Vancouver and Nashville, and his first single "Duet,"featuring Carly McKillip of One More Girl, is currently charting on Canadian country radio.
